Instead of reading this “About Me” section, I wish I could gift you just a moment with Randi. She’s honestly the most magical thing. The day we met years ago I remember looking at her over the brim of my wine glass thinking, “Wow, I wish everyone could feel this.” And I really mean feel this.

It’s true that Randi is a talented artist in nearly every expression of the word, but when I say “my wife is an artist” I mean that my wife spends at least two hours at every vintage shop in every single town we have ever visited. I mean that my wife will travel anywhere to connect with someone who is selling a piece of fabric that moves her, and has never left without making friends with the seller. I mean that my wife was moved to tears finding a fabric bolt with a pattern that vaguely matched her great grandmother’s vintage tablecloth.

That’s the “About Randi” I hope you really feel when you purchase one of her pieces. It represents years of pursuing something that moved someone, and Randi Kampen is by far the King of being moved.

Cheers to you for securing a badass. one of a kind piece. And cheers to Randi who, as I’m writing this, has already asked if we can stop by a new thrift store before dinner plans tonight. May we all get the chance to look over the brim of our wine glass at the most magical thing we know.
